One Targets Sporting Communities to Help Boost Australian Sport
Australia’s largest community sporting network, SportingPulse, and digital sports channel ONE today announced that they entered into a network partnership.
The partnership consists of a number of initiatives including:
- The launch of a live sporting news ticker, powered by ONE, on all 27 000 of SportingPulse’s club websites delivering the latest sports news and content from around the world.
- ONE produced content consisting of a series of three minute videos from Australian sporting athletes including Andrew Bogut and Lucas Neil sharing their own community sport experience and their journey to the international stage.
- Significant media support across the SportingPulse network designed to drive ONE website traffic and strengthen ONE viewership.
- Exclusive access for SportingPulse’s to some of Australia’s premier professional sporting events.
Head of sales & marketing at SportingPulse, Chris Oliver said he was absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Australia’s only free-to-air dedicated sports channel.

Half of all commercial profits received by SportingPulse are transferred to its network of clubs and associations. The SportingPulse network hosts club and association websites for over 1.5 million local sporting participants.
In 2009, News Digital Media invested a stake into the company and became responsible for display advertising across the network.
ONE provides Australians with 24 hours of sports coverage from Australia and all around the world.
